so...today went ok i guess. went to jrelig discussion (with 3.5 hours of sleep, YAY =_=' ). there...as usual were like half the people in the class. This one guy came in late (as usual orz) and then, he nodded off fell asleep -.-' ...and he was in between Jason our TA, and one of the guys that participates a lot in class. ...smart move D;

After discussion Chi and I headed off to classical class for midterm which only took about 40 minutes. After the midterm Mabel, Chi and I went to Ackerman for a while before waiting outside our classical discussion class.

In class, Caleb had us put into groups and competing to translate and figure out the grammar of small phrases. My group...sucked -.-' the one guy(same guy from Jrelig) , was like doodling (although towards the end he actually knew stuff! ...why he didn't put that knowledge to use in the first place...ugh). So yeah, we got creamed ><;

Anyways, just wanted to point out some random stuff.

During our midterm yesterday, my prof said we could only bring analog watches if we wanted to keep time (he wouldn't allow our ta to write the time on the board). So...there's this guy. Know-it-all that asks really stupid questions sometimes.

I got my essay back for Jrelig and my TA had written a comment on it asking if I was German.
...I had a bazillion commas (that he mostly crossed out)
and he said that I put them in places where Germans writing in English would normally place them. hmm. interesting.

So. Today i only have one class. Went to it, came back and had some (not very good lunch) and tried to start on my hw.

Woke up, tried again unsuccessfully to start my hw, and then went down to get dinner.

I got dinner and was sitting alone across from this older guy (Co-op is mainly college students, and he wasn't a worker i'd seen around before). Well, he randomly asked me what was in the chimichanga i was eating (...who knows. it was one of those sucky frozen ones you nuke in the microwave, but they fried it so it was crispy). I said I didn't really know...some meat and cheese i guess (unidentifiable gunk if you ask me D; )

He said he never ate the wrapped stuff because you never know what could be in it, and then started asking me about my major etc.
I asked him some stuff too, and it turns out he's a vising professor teaching italian at UCLA from Rome. He said he had a 5 year contract (he's on his 4th year now) and then he'll return home. I feel kind of bad for him, being stuck at co-op because it's "a place for youth *sadface*"
haha. yeah. loud obnoxious partying college kids. I wouldn't be happy if i were older like him and stuck with a bunch of kids, but it IS much cheaper and you get fed (not very good food sometimes, but food is food). After talking for a bit, he was done and left and Maureen had come so I waited for her to finish before coming up to the room Where FINALLY i started on my hw.

omg. took forever. EVER. Classical Japanese is evilllll *sigh*

but i finally finished so yay 8D
...i have to read for the poetry seminar too. and i have this feeling we were supposed to do something else, but i either didn't write what i was supposed to do down, or i lost whatever i wrote it down on so, i have no idea what i'm supposed to do now (...atom is in my class, but he never shows up so...pfft. no use asking him >.>' )

anyways it's late and i have class bright and fairly early tomorrow. oi.

So, i did end up getting dragged to Westwood BrewCo by Maureen and Joana and Maureen's friend Andrew and his friend Frank around 11 something...and now i'm pretty out of it, i won't lie. I had like 4 drinks in only like 2/3 hours. Maureen bought me an Espirit (i think Joana said it had like 5 kinds of vodka in it), Joana bought me a jagerbomb (jagermeister and monster i think), Maureen bought me a tequila shot and a ...i think it had coconut rum and some sprite or soda water in it. And it's only 2 so...oi. I've never had so many drinks in my life. And I feel pretty unsteady, but not totally drunk.
I was texting Kevin the whole time...though my roomies were messing with him on aim too (i was logged onto aim at the time)
I still feel really really out of it so i should definitely go to sleep, but i admit it was kind of fun, and at least an experience if nothing else. After the bar we ended up going to Subway (even though I didn't get anything) and i ended up drinking Joana's raspberry tea.

and now... i should probably go to bed, so i can wake up in the morning.

oh yea, a couple of days ago right before i went to breakfast a girl wanted me to take a picture of her and her friend in her friend's  room. They had a double but it was soo small compared to ours. I hope we don't have to bump and lose this room. its actually quite big and i like it :)

also toay (er yesterday) during my classical music class the classroom phone rang and my prof was like I hope I won a million dollars, so he answered the phone "did i win a million dollars?" and of course he didn't so he listened to whatever they said, hung up, and said "no million dollars today" before continuing lecture. lol


...and now... i think i should really go to sleep so i can wake up tomorrow on time instead of late like today ><'

So, today has been fairly uneventful. I don't have class on Mondays, but I have to be here so I can do my kitchen duty from 2-6pm.
I woke up around 10 something and got lunch at 11, then came back for a while until I had to go downstairs at 2.

I...ended up wiping down the patio chairs and tables, and then cutting up like 12 blocks of tofu. All of that only took me slightly more than an hour, so I spent the next basically 3 hours washing dishes/sanitizing them/putting them away (Jennifer how do you ever do this every couple of days?! D; ...but then again, you get paid...that makes a difference haha XD)
My hands are so dry, and it took me forever to get the smell of latex off of them oi!

Anyways, after I got off at 5:40 (because I didn't take my 20 minute break during the shift, i took it at the end and got off early :D
I got dinner, and went to check and see if any of the books I ordered came. So far, only one out of seven T_T (and it's not the ones i need for this week either, groar D; ). I'll check again tomorrow *sigh*

Ever since I finished dinner and took a shower, I've been trying to work on this assignment I have for Japanese 101A Advanced Reading >.o' I remember complaining when I had to read a whole 3 or 4 pages of japanese for class and answer 5 or 6 questions in japanese, now it's like 10 pages, and 20 questions T_T and Mabel and Chi might leave me, and then i'll be all alone nooooo T_____T'''

so...tuesday was a continuation of monday. stephanie went to work, leaving diana, priscilla, and me to handle her little sister amanda.
in infinite wisdom, priscilla gave her a bit of brownie AND a tofu ice-cream sandwich...which...she threw on the floor -.-' (priscilla asked her if she wanted it, and she said yes, because she wanted to throw it, and priscilla STILL GAVE IT TO HER...and then she threw it -_-' Luckily it was still wrapped >.>' )
But yeah... all that sugar = child bouncing off of walls omg D; She just wouldn't sit still or shut up, or leave me alone. ...at first i was thinking hey, kids arent sooo bad, but oi -_-'

anyways, priscilla's parents came too, and they brought her nephew. he's so cute <33 he's only a few months old so... he's still at the cute, can't do too much except cry, poo, and babble stage XD

after that, i got food and by the time i came back, priscilla's parents had left, and stephanie's sister had gotten picked up so YAY D;
i was kind of getting weary of having a green light shown in my eye, called the hulk, hit with a huge monkeyplush, having my hair totally destroyed (and having it blamed on the monkey...) and told i'm stupid for having money and not having new clothes (wtfh?!)
so...yeah ._.'

anyways, not much else has been happening, except today, I felt up a squirrel! 8D
or well...what happened was I was walking back from class with one of my classmates and at the end of the walkway there's a trashcan (the kind with the flap) and there was a squirrel in it with it's back end hanging out. So, I was like "Hmm... I wonder if it'll notice if i go up to it." and Jay was like DO ITTT 8DD So... I went over and touched it's tail, and it freaked out and jumped out of the trashcan and crouched there staring at me in the walkway, before i left and...it probably went back to foraging haha

and that, was my excitement for the day. the only other thing i did was ditch class. i woke up at 7am, got ready, and then was like...i haven't finished the book, screw it, and went back to sleep for another like 3 hours haha D;

so, I'm sitting here watching Seven Pounds with Priscilla, Diana, and Stephanie. It's an interesting movie, and has a pretty interesting concept (so far anyways hahaa)

Anyways, as we're watching, we also get the lovely sounds of Taylor screaming in the bathroom (i assume at her boyfriend?) It's been going on for a while now... >.>' The clearest thing I made out was "I'M CRAZY! I'M SORRY!" in a sad/angry voice  ....yes, yes you are, can you NOT scream in the bathroom? D;

i had another odd occurence. Diana and I were walking back from class yesterday, and behind us were these two guys talking quite loudly.
And one was talking about how in class (high school maybe? i dunno) he rarely answered questions that the teacher asked the class even though he knew the answers, because he knew "the other students were struggling" and so he wanted to help them out by letting them answer instead.

after he and his friend went off in the opposite direction, diana and i gave each other looks and agreed that he sounded like a pompous asshole -.-' oh yes, please, all of your underlings need your help, without you they'd all be doooooommmmmeeeeddd *grovel*

I woke up at 5 this morning to what sounded like the ocean's tidal crests themselves crashing lustily upon my window.
The rain we've been promised has finally arrived, in full force. California needs it badly, so er...yay? haha.
I went back to sleep for a while before finally waking up and coming to my grandparents' house =)

...not much else to talk about for today, so I guess I can go on to Happy thought time!:

Friday, I did a bunch of stuff! I had my last tutor meeting with the LAC *sniffle* I teared up a little when I made my farewell speech haha D;
As boring as that place was when I didn't have anything to do there, i really did like it a lot

But anyways, after that, Tracy and I went to her house to wait for Jacky, and after that, got Kevin and then headed off to the bowling alley. We got there, and the first thing we saw? a whole HORDE of Keppel teachers. Nielsen, Duong, Ng, Eggerman, Hake, Rosso, etc etc Very...freaky haha.
A bit later, Michael, and then Remy, Connie, Betty, Robert, Jeffers, and Joy arrived and we bowled. ...Jeffers put my name as "I don't know" -.-' haha. After bowling, Kevin, Michael and I went to Tea station and got drinks before meeting up with everyone else (sans Tracy and Jacky, since they had to leave early =[ ) at this little taiwanese restaurant (that looks like it was converted from a mcdonalds) in ...is the place called Crystal Plaza? ...whatever. The food was pretty good. After dinner, we stopped off at Kevin's house to get tennis balls and racquets, then headed off to Garvey Ranch to play some tennis. I've never played tennis before, and of course, I sucked majourly XD. After playing tennis for a while (and loosing the damned balls over the fence D;), Kevin, Michael and I went to 85C Tea House. That place, is so fobby XD Some of the guys had jrock hair and leopard print jackets, and the girls looked like something you'd see in an asian street fashion magazine haha! We waited for Remy and co. but...they got there tried to park, failed, and left for Starbucks -_-' Granted...the parking sucked because all of the people there took over the parking lot with chairs and tables,so there were like... 3 parking spots only -.-' Anyways, we got our drinks, then met up with Remy, Jeffers, and Connie at Remy's house where we ended up talking until like 1:30 in the morning, at which time, Michael took everyone home =)

Saturday, I went ot Kevin's house, and Michael picked us, then Connie up before heading to Red Ant Cafe where we had some....interesting food haha. Connie's chicken had honeydew in it. Michael's curry ...also had honeydew in it XD Anyways, after lunch, we headed to the Norton Simon Museum. in. Pasadena. Oi. I hadn't read my email thoroughly, but I realized that UCLA had a game against Arizona at the Rosebowl ...which means Pasadena was crowded as all hell D; We finally fought the traffic enough to get to the museum (which i've never been to). It was pretty interesting! ...but we had to leave because it closes at like 6 :(
We went back to Michael's house and watched The Man In the Iron Mask (dude...DiCaprio and Malkovich shouldn't do anymore period movies D; ). We called Remy to join us because she was supposed to hang out with us after the museum, but she rejected us ;~;
We headed to JazzCat for dinner, where we had like an hour wait for a table. The food was good! ...but... uh... it KO-ed me later. We got back to Michael's house and my intestines were gurgling like crazy D; (Kevin could hear it from several feet away... >.> ). I ended up with food poisoning D:
Anyways, around 2, Michael dropped Kevin and I off at Kevin's house. I felt really bad for missing Jacky and Connie O's get together thing, and I was feeling really shitty (damn you hotpotttt T^T). I was torn between going home,or going to visit them at Connie's house since they were still there watching a movie, and I think i started to kind of lose it >.<' Kevin ended up driving to Connie's house where we watched the rest of the movie (...though... I was kind of curled up in a ball on the floor) before going home at like 3:30 (we had to drop off Derainna before Kevin took me home). I'm glad I at least got to see them for a little bit, but oi my stomach has definitely seen better days =_='

So... Friday Kevin picked me up from my tutor meeting and we went back and hung out at his house for a while. We were supposed to meet up with Kevin's friend Sam for dinner at 7 ...but Sam texted him and cancelled -.-'''
sooooo... instead, we decided to go out by ourselves. We ended up going to Mandarin Noodle house for dinner. Their sesame paste noodles are pretty good! ...and we've finally found a REALLY GOOD place for green onion pancakes *g* 
After that, we went to the park and walked around for a bit before sitting and talking about some stuff
we sat at the park for a while before going to cafe spot for dessert, where uh...well, things didn't really go so well haha because honestly, I haven't been all that stable as of late >.>''''. there's too many major things happening at once, and really all i want to do is curl up in a big ball somewhere in the corner. i need to find a better way of communicating what's in my mind to others when I'm feeling antisocial and can't talk, and i think i've found it?
anyways, enough of that -.-'

on Saturday I went to the LA county Fair with my mom and kevin!
My mom and I have gone just about every year since...ever haha. (probably 15+ of my 20 years =D )
My mom picked up Kevin around 11:30 and we went to Yi Mei Bakery to get some food to take with us.
We walked around a LOT and got to see all the animals and stuff. After looking at all of the animals, and then going through a few of the shopping buildings, Kevin and I went off for about an hour to go mess around at the carnival. We only went on one ride though since it was so expensive, and Kevin played a couple of games before we headed back to meet up with my mom. We got dinner (after much running around haha) and after finishing that, we finished walking around the rest of the shopping buildings. My mom bought new insoles, and was telling us about her old pair and how good they were. And she said that once her old ones popped *whine* "you realize the ground is hard" Yes mom. Hard ground is *gasp* HARD lol
By the time we were done going through all the buildings, it was like 11pm, so we went and got some ice cream and ate that before heading back home =D

On Sunday, I went with Kevin to 85° Tea House. I've been wanting to try there for a while, but the last time we went by the place was packed with people (as in...there were a tone of seats outside and they were ALL filled, so we just drove past). Since it was daytime this time around though, it wasn't so crowded =D
They have really good tea there! After playing some cards over tea, we went to Staples and then to Circuit City where Kevin ended up buying himself a mouse for his laptop. We had a few problems though D:
The mouse rang up at like $40, but the sales girl price adjusted it to $30. Also, the mouse was supposed to come with a mail in rebate that would make it like $10, but that didn't print, so we had to go back and ask about that. It turns out that the rebate is good for the black mouse only (kevin got the grey colour) because the UPCs are different -.-' So... he had to get it exchanged for a black one. Oi -.-'

Friday:
After work, Kevin picked me up and we went and got Tracy before heading to cha for tea where we talked for a while before going back to Kevin's house for a bit. Around 4:30 or so though, Michael came to pick Kevin and I up so Tracy went home. We got Remy, and then Connie before heading to Santa Monica. We walked around the Promenade for a while looking for someplace to eat before finally deciding on Buca di Beppo. We got a pizza and two pasta dishes for the 5 of us and that was waaaay too much food, we could have gotten just 2 pasta dishes and been more than fine i think D:
After that, we went and walked around the pier for a bit, deciding in the end to spend the $5 per person to get tickets for the Ferris Wheel. After that we played around on the beach for a while before going home at like 1 in the morning =X

Saturday:
I got up early and went to Kevin's house before walking to Remy's house where we met up with Joseph, Remy, Connie, and Michael. We headed off to Frank & Sons where everyone walked around while Michael worked for a while. Once he was done working, we went to a small taiwanese place for food before running across the street to a market to shop for food. we didn't find what we were looking for though, so we went back to MPK where we decided that it'd be best just to buy viet sandwiches for dinner instead of cooking since no one was hungry. Kevin and I had gotten dropped off at his house to look for his keys (his dad had used them, and not put them back or something) and then Joseph picked us up and we went to Michael's house where we watched the premier of the batman spoof i linked earlier! After a while though, we got hungry and headed off to get food to bring back which we ate while watching random youtube videos (and karaoke-ing disney songs) until people had to start going home. Joseph took me and Kevin back to Kevin's house so I could pick up my cellphone, and from there Kevin took me home where we ended up talking in his car for a long time before he went home.

Sunday: I went with my mom to go visit my grandma. We asked what was up and she said she had tests the next day, but when my mom asked what tests, she didn't know -.-' And when my mom asked if she knew what was wrong, she said something about some silver fish that due to her blood pressure grew big. My mom gave each other wtf looks, and when my grandpa came back (he had stepped out for a bit) he was like wtf is this about fish -.-' She's just having tests done on her heart ...or something like that so... i have no idea wtf that was about ._.'

Monday... i had a weird dream haha
I dreamt I was at Kevin's house and for some reason I was sandwiched in between Kenneth and Terry. Terry motioned to Kenneth or something, and he like...punched me for no reason, so I whirled around and punched him in the arm really hard before turning back around and punching Terry. We ended up in a fight where I was screaming at her for treating me like shit, and I ran out of the house, right when Kevin's parents came in and were looking at me like crazy. I started running down the street, and ended up at a park (not barne's park, some imaginary park). Kevin was behind me and caught up to me and calmed me down and brought me back to his house...where there was a ton of people because of a funeral or something like that ._.' So I walked in and his siblings were there and I think i started yelling at them again when I woke up ._.'
...maybe I still have some residual bitterness because of what happened before when Kenneth was treating me like shit for no reason O_o; *shrug*

Wednesday: My grandma came home! ...i still don't really know what's up though ._.'
And the first thing that happened when i got home from work? I get yelled at 8D
...for what exactly...I'm not quite sure ._.'
My uncle told me to get a few tacos from this place near school since he didn't know how much food they'd bought for dinner, so I did
And now, my grandma was babbling at me that i can save the food for my mom...except...she's not going to be here any time soon O-o
So she started yelling at me that she can't be telling me what to do and to just throw it out. I'm going to EAT it...why the hell would I throw it out -.-'
jeebus. It's nice she's home now, but it would have been nice if things had stayed nice and calm for more than TWO minutes, seriously now haha.


So yeah...that has been my basic life this week XD.

Today I was walking to the Tech building and I ran into William this morning! He was looking for the SG Building ...until I pointed out that SG means it's at South Gate and therefore...not on the ELAC campus ...to which he headdesked and went  home ehehe >.>'

So... I mosied on into work and Cindy was like "Guess what? I have tons of stuff for you to do 8D"
...that's never a good thing, nope nope. And of course, it was the worst possible thing she could have given me -.-'
I had to make like 20 phone calls to different people about the state of their applications or to schedule them an interview YAY 8DDD *dies*
I did maybe... 12 of them or so? and the rest of them I passed off to Manny and Danny (...shut up i can't help it their names rhyme D: )
So  yeah, that was my day ...not too much fun for me haha, but I got it done? I'm still mortified of phones, but it was a small accomplishment y/n? 8D

before i left, i told my grandparents that i was leaving. my grandpa was just like "oh, ok ._." but my grandma was like DOKO IKU NO?!?! (where are you going?!?!?!?!). So I said that I was going to the park to hang out with Tracy, Linda, Jonathan, Jacky, and Kevin because Jonathan was leaving for Connecticut tonight, and Linda was leaving for Berkeley on Saturday.
...yeah. well, i was running around getting ready at that time, and when i came back to the living room to get something, my grandma was muttering (...grumbling loudly really...) "Uso bakkari..."(all lies). So. there really isn't anything or anyone she could have been talking about except for me, which means SHE DIDN'T BELIEVE ME!! OMFG WTFH?!?! -_-'''
I am so glad it's the weekend and i got dropped off at my mom's house on Saturday >.>'

anyways, i didn't say anything or show that i heard anything but i did -_-' and i went off to kevin's house. he took me to the bank to cash my paycheck (since my wallet was absolutely empty from the night before...) after that, we picked up michael, and then met up with tracy, linda, jon, and jonathan at Thai paradise for lunch. Remy, Connie, and Joseph also came a bit later and met up with us at the restaurant. after that we went to Garvey Ranch park.
Most of us messed with the water balloons. Kevin and I were like PRIME targets and got soaked … Later on, we all went to Cha for Tea to get drinks and talk. Tracy and Jonathan had to leave though, and Jacky came a bit later. (because erm…someone forgot to call him when we got to the park X_X’’)
Eventually we all left and went to Michael’s house for some video games and stuff. We had some pizza from Petrillos and watched 28 Days later before playing some more video games and then going home =)

On Saturday, I went to Kevin’s house around 1. And…for the first time in what feels like forever I DIDN’T get grumbled at or whatever before leaving …but then again she wasn’t awake when I left *shrug* I’ll take what I can get XD
We bummed around his house until it was dinner time, and went to this little place called Dragon Mark for dinner. We got noodles thinking it’d be dry, but it was soup noodles. …incredibly BLAND soup noodles no less >.<‘ But everything else we got was ok =). After that we picked up Michael, and arranged to meet up with Joseph, Connie, Remy, and Remy’s bro Jason at Fosselman’s.

…BAD IDEA omg. There were no parking spaces. So…Kevin moved up so he could turn around and get out. A car behind us was leaving so we were like YAY! …but another car came in the driveway and took the spot =/ That actually happened twice -_-’’’ We gave up and met up at Almansor park…to decide to go to Café Spot so Joseph and Jason could get dinner. The rest of us got drinks there. I was sitting at the end of the table and Jason and Kevin were on either side of me. …talking about sports. I could see the rest of the groups’ mouths moving, but I couldn’t hear them over the din of KOBE DID THIS AND THAT AND BLAHBLAHBLAH haha. So when there was a pause, I basically pulled Kevin out of his chair and made him switch places with me so they could continue talking and I could listen to the other group hehehe. I had gotten the fresh coconut juice...which is basically a coconut with a hole in it XD. After finishing the juice though, I wanted the coconut meat too, but the restaurant wouldn't crack it open, and so began a half an hour of fighting with it by most of the table. The coconut...ended up coming out (in joseph's words) shaped like an ass...which...what with the fork shoved in the hole...sparked a litany of sexual references lmao XD
I think our waiter thought we were all crazy, he just stood and laughed at us from across the room XDD
...we never DID get it open in the restaurant though... we had to go outside and smash it on a rock. and...by that time i really had no interest in eating it anymore anyways =X

after that we went to Nubi's for fozen yogurt and sat around talking until joseph had to take Remy, Jason, and Connie home. Kevin and I dropped off Michael at home, and then we ended up walking around Almansor park for a bit. We both had to go to the restroom, but the park ones were locked, so we walked over to the Banquet/Club whatever the heck fancy place across the way and weaved through a bunch of people in gowns to get to the outdoor restrooms. When I came out, Kevin said I took forever so he expected me to look relieved but...well... i was grumbling in pain heh. When I flushed the toilet i smooshed my pinky T_T. So I took so long because i was like...bleeding and I was trying to clean my finger >.<'
We walked around and then sat over by the pond for probably like an hour before Kevin drove me home. We stayed so long partially because we were sitting on this huge rock formation by the edge of the pond, and then the sprinklers went off all over the lawn behind us...essentially trapping us, so we had to wait until they turned off before we could leave and go home haha.

so... i know in the last post i said i was looking into buying a laptop. well... i came home from work today, and my uncle ronnie had actually BOUGHT me one =D (he's also the one that bought my desktop computer too ^^; )
It's an Insipron 1525 in black. It's not purple, but hey i'm not complaining, i'm just happy to have a laptop now =D
i'm typing on it now. it's pretty spiffy =) I'm still getting used of everything, especially the since it has Windows Vista on it, and I haven't had any experience with the program. So far it seems pretty ok, but then again i'm not using my laptop for crazy stuff or anything either haha.

anyways, as a lot of you already know,we had an earthquake today in the Chino hills area. I hope all of you are alright! ^^'
It was a 5.4, and the sad thing is, i didn't even feel it o-o; I was on ELAC's campus walking to work, and i was like...why is everyone outside?
I think i might have been walking by the construction area when it happened so i didn't notice it o-o;
so... i went over to the mathlab and found kevin and asked him about what happened, and i ended up sitting with him for a while. We saw Edy and talked for a bit before I figured I should go to work. I would have thought our building wouldn't have been reopened so fast since it's a taller building, but it was business as usual. Except that everyone had a lot of calls and texts that morning (Thanks Joseph, Rayna, and Kristy! haha).
We had only one tutor that was a noshow so... I hope he's alright and just figured that school was closed because of the earthquake =X

So... I haven't been inside Kevin's house since like Saturday (even though I've been there like twice since then heh).

But, anyways, enough of that.

Monday found Tracy and I lugging a table and two chairs half way across campus (yay? D; ) But, we couldn't carry all that with just two of us because the table and chairs were way heavier than they looked. So we had to call and have Giau come and help us. Giau and I were carrying the table and OMG he kept running me into pillars and stuff. He'd make sharp turns and i'd be like trying to get out of the way of pillars...and failing *headdesk*.

Tuesday found Cindy, Ana and I doing the same thing (because Anthony was NO WHERE to be found... -.-' )
after we were done with the table and chairs though, we just stored them in the LAC storage room.

speaking of which... those were supposed to be returned today ...oops, maybe the others did it heh >.>'

Wednesday and thursday we just mooched the table that was outside already because it was too hard getting that thing up the stairs.

...anyways, on Wednesday, after Kevin came back from school and I had eaten dinner we went out and got Jamba juice(which I haven't had in a while, yay!). Afterwards we went to Almansor park  and sat at the lake for a while, which was pretty nice =)  ...we saw this poor duck/turkey thing  that was trying to follow this group of 3 older ducks, but they just started walking faster and ignored it until it went and emo-ed out by the side of the water =/
afterwards, we stopped off at riteaid and my house before going to Arbys so Kevin could get some dinner. I swear there must have been like ONE guy there or something, because he didn't answer the drivethrough -.-' We only realized the place was open when we saw the guy at the pick-up window, so Kevin ordered and got some food before taking me home =)

hrm...tomorrow I think i'm going with the Kevins and Tracy to shoot some pool woot! ...even though i suck really badly, it should be fun ^^

I finally got around to getting another permit so I can start learning to drive! =D (...last time i got my permit in 2006, after i got it my mom didn't want me touching her car -.-''' ).

    So, around 10:45 Kevin picked me up but he told me i needed my birth certificate...which I didn't have a copy of at my grandparents house, so we had to drive to San Gabriel so I could get it from my mom. After that, we decided to go to the Lincoln Heights DMV since he said it'd probably be closer, but before going we went over to The Renaissance to prebuy tickets to see Batman: The Dark Knight. We called Rayna to see if they needed tickets too, because we saw that the 8:30 showing was already sold out (we were trying for the 7pm showing). She said they were set with tickets so we just got 4 for our group. After that we left for the DMV
    We got to the DMV and it turns out SooHoo's mom was the one handing out applications. She saw us and was like "MY BABIES!!!" and just about glomped us (...i'm sure the people behind us were like WTF?! xDD). So I filled out the application, and she had given me two numbers and told me use whichever was faster...and destroy the evidence of the other one haha. So... i did all the application stuff and went to take the test portion. The lady that gave out/graded the tests sort of looks like the evil lady in The Rescuers Down Under xD.
Anyways, I passed the test with 4 wrong, and when I came out Kevin was holding sandwiches. Apparently SooHoo's mom had bought us food (yay food XD).
   
    So from the DMV, we went and picked up Amy, got sandwiches for her and Michael (and drinks for all of us) then went to Michael's house and ate/watched part of some really old movie who's name escapes me atm. We then went and picked up Michael's brother Jeff from... wherever, dumped him, and went to the Renaissance where we used Amy's ticket vouchers to buy seats for Wall-e for 3:20pm. I really liked Wall-e. It was a really cute movie ^^

    After we got out of that, it was a bit after 5, so we went to Cha for Tea for drinks. The girl at the tea-bar was really funny. Amy had asked what Love at First Sight was (it's one of their drinks with like mango green tea, passionfruit, peach, and sour green mango on top). The girl was like *points at self* "that'd be me! =D...ok i'm kidding, it's got *blah blah*" I...got the silverneedle white tea. i wish I hadn't ;~; i didn't like it and i had to sit outside the theater and chug it down with kevin, until neither of us could stand it anymore and i had to throw the rest away =X)
    We stood in line, and when we got in, Rayna, Remy and the rest of their group were just barely leaving DD=. We tried to save seats, but they called back and said that they couldn't get tickets (...i thought they had tickets? D:) ...They had vouchers which they thought meant they could just get in with, but you need to exchange the vouchers for real tickets, and since they came so close to starting time, the movie had already sold out. They ended up getting a showing for like...10pm which means we didn't get to meet up with them >.<'
    The movie was really good! even though Kevin got kind of mad  because since he chugged down so much of my tea, he had to leave and pee...and the 2nd time he didn't want to leave and held it >.>''' The joker was SO. F-ing. CREEPY
...which was awesome =DDDDDDD

After the movie, we ended up going to Cafe Spot for dinner before going home =)

anyways...on to my week 8D ... i know i'm slow with the AX recap but i'll post it soon ^^;

this week has been...interesting. tuesday i went out with jonathan, kevin, kevin s, and tracy. we got crepes and then ended up going to the santa anita mall to walk around for a bit. tracy had to return though, so she left and the rest of us ended up going to noodle world for dinner.

wednesday at work was the last day i went to the J1 class. I didn't really connect with anyone during summer session because NO ONE ever really came to me for tutoring or anything =( It was the last day i'll see Furuyama (unless i somehow find the time to go back to ELAC and visit sometime) because she won't be teaching second session (and they didn't assign me to satellite in a class anyways... ). I'll miss her since I had her for all 3 of my japanese classes at ELAC (and had her since Spring 2005).

Thursday was...special D;
At work Cindy assigned me to post fliers around campus so I dragged Manny and Eddie along. They had scooters and I didn't -.-'
And then they decided to go to Big 5 D; Which basically meant I spent like an hour running after them while posting fliers and when we went to Big 5 because they were able to wheel themselves way ahead of me D;
(i went with them because it'd be weird having to try and explain myself if only I came back, since it was during work hours and all... O-o; ).

Friday I went out with Kevin, Joseph, Derainna, and Tony in the early afternoon. We met up at Garvey Ranch Park and ended up going to Quickly's for drinks before going back to Kevin's house. Jonathan came, and then KevinS and eventually we went to Tamaya for dinner. After dinner we came back and played scrabble for a while until everyone went home.

Saturday I went to Kevin's house and from there we met up with Joseph and Derainna at William's house. After hanging out there for a bit we went to Mai Wei Cafe (My Way? I dunno... i didn't look at the title) for dinner  and had Michael meet up with us. Afterwards we went to Fosselmans (yes again) for nummy ice cream before going to Kevin's house where we ended up playing scrabble/DS/battleship/yugioh cards(we all sort of split up to play different things XD) before going home.

Saturday's weather was so SO weird though. We were talking/playing games on Kevin's porch since it was cooler outside than inside, and like it was pretty clear out, but there was a lighting storm off to the north ._.' I haven't really seen lightning in like years so that was pretty cool =D

so... i came home and my grandmother started yelling at me about the time... once again -.-'

seriously give me a concrete time to come home if you're going to give me a curfew. don't just say "come home earlier" grahhh
and...if you're going to fucking ask me what I was doing until 1am (...even though it wasn't even 1am yet when you asked!!)... Don't fucking say "Who cares?!" when I say I was playing Scrabble because obviously you're the one that cares if you're fucking asking me in the first place!!!!! >.<'

and...while I'm at it...

if you're trying to make me feel bad about having a boyfriend...it's not working -.-'

he isn't the only thing i care about. I care about the rest of my friends as well!
(i mean... i've been trying to figure out ways to smooth things over with the latest drama and whatnot)

and i care about school too, of course!
(...there IS a reason why I spend tons of time checking and rechecking the UCLA website all the time ... I don't want to fuck anything up before I even get in >.>' )


i never fucking  asked you for a fucking laptop. if it comes to it, i'll buy myself one even if you don't get me one, and even if my mom isn't able to help me out with the cost at all. and...why the hell do you say she has a lot of money just because she works?! you know perfectly well she doesn't!!!
and usually you're the one saying "omg your mom doesn't have a lot of money blah blah." make up your damned mind! it can't be both ways depending on your mood and what your agenda is!!

i won't have to worry about when i sleep and stuff at least (it's not like i'll really do all that much going out during the week... )
even though i'm planning on coming home on weekends... i'm thinking of just staying at my mom's house anyways. though...i don't think my grandmother will let me on days my mom works (even though i'm just 3 months shy of my 21st birthday)
i think it's time that i get some small bit of independance. i know i'm not ready just yet to totally move out on my own permanently and deal with everything that comes with that, but at least it's a small step?

haha... i remember when i was younger(and even now sometime) if i was acting up (or talking back as they call it now... -.-' ) my grandma would be like "we're old... we should be enjoying our old age not taking care of another kid, we raised three already"
uh... it wasn't really my choice to live here (especially as a kid). And now that i'm older and actually able to be able to stay home alone when my mom is at work, she won't let me anyways and i end up staying here anyways  -.-' (even though i'd really rather go to my mom's house... it's more peaceful there )
when i went on the san francisco trip, my mom said that my grandma said that she sort of missed having me around  >.<'
wtf is going to happen when i move out for the dorms?
guh...it's like she decides i'm an adult when it's convenient for her, and the rest of the time treats me like i'm not...
i know she means well but gah. I get annoyed with the inconsistency, and her ability to bring subjects into her rants that have NOTHING to do with what we're currently talking about... just to make people feel worse =/

sorry about the incoherentness of the post but... i felt like releasing some steam before going to sleep. >.<'

Soo...Friday was...quite eventful XD
Tracy and I had a tutor meeting, and afterwards, we picked up Kevin, then Amy and went to Cafe-Z (yes, again) in Pasadena for food. They're really nice there, and they gave us a free fruit bowl, just because =D. After that we walked around Pasadena for a while, ended up in the Paseo centre, and walked around Macy's for a bit before heading back to MPK. By then, Tracy had to go home so she dropped us off at Kevin's house, and we waited around until William, Connie, and Tony called, and then we were off to Little Tokyo. We went to Mitsuwa first and got some snacks, then met up with Michel and went to the arcade for a bit. Amy and I didn't really want to play anything so we walked around until everyone else was done playing, and we all headed to Orochon for dinner. Sadly, we had to split into two tables outside (Kevin, Amy, Michel and I at one, and Connie, William, and Tony at the other). The ramen was hotttt (and I only got a 5 D: ...next time I am SO getting a 6, which is less spicy). Afterwards, we got some gelato and sat around for a bit before splitting up. Michel went home, and the rest of us went to Connie's house where we played Super Smash Brother's Brawl, and some card game that the group had made up. We played sooo late I got home at probably 2:30am XD.

Saturday, I went with Michael and Kevin to Frank & Sons where Kevin traded his X-box 360 for some money and super duper huge Unicron and Starscream figurines. After Frank & Sons, we went to a taiwanese place in Rowland Heights called Good Time Cafe and got food before heading back. On the way back we picked up Michel from Bruggemeyer Library. Michel hadn't eaten so we went to the Cherry Blossom Festival at Barnes park so he could get some grub. While they were food getting, I went to visit my old Japanese school's veggie and fruit booth and got some strawberries. I was hoping to see some of my old teachers there, but Tatsugawa sensei wasn't there, and I only got to see Yonemoto sensei and Duran sensei^^'. We talked for a bit, before I had to leave. Michel was going to park his car in Kevin's driveway, so Michael had to back out (since he'd parked there as there was no parking outside due to the festival). Kevin offered to back out since his driveway is hard to manoever. When he had backed out enough, he pulled the parking brake and traded spots with Michael. It turns out...he pulled on the brake waaay too hard and jammed it DD; ...They were pannicking and trying to unstick it with no luck. I suggested pulling up more and then fiddling to see if the thing would get jiggled back onto its track. Luckily it worked \(^-^)/(yay) So...off to Michael's house where we ended up watching Dumb and Dumber (omg my brain died with that one) and then played some Brawl. We ended up staying until around 12:30 before Kevin drove me home.

Today, I walked over to Kevin's house after lunch and met up with Michel and Kevin (Michel had stayed over at Kevin's house). We went over to the Cherry Blossom Festival and met up with Amy. We walked around for a bit (and I tried again to see if any teachers I knew were at the Japanese school stand...but there weren't any this time =/ ). We decided to watch the sumo match (there was this 7yr old that "beat" like the biggest dude XD ...of course they let him win but it was cute anyways ). After that we stayed to see the Aztec Singers and saw Tracy and her family there (since Audrey is in A.S.) We also saw Angela whom I haven't seen in ages =). After a bit more walking around we went back to Kevin's house and hung around until Michael came because he had to take pictures of the festival. He went over, and soon after he came back. After that though, I had to go home, so Kevin took me home and then dropped off Amy. I had dinner and came back to his house ...and now I'm just bumming, though I'm going home pretty soon since i have school at 7:20 tomorrow =_=
